Vintage Quilt Pillow - Sunbonnet Sue -Hope

This sweet vintage quilt pillow features Sunbonnet Sue, the word HOPE has been stamped and stitched on. Her lovely dress features sweet flowers, and is the prettiest shade of peach!  She was hand appliqued, and some of her stitches are missing.  The back is blue denim fabric.  This pillow is approx. 15"x12", has been sewn with a raw edge, and is stuffed with super soft polyfil.  A sweet gift to be sure, or add her to your own pillow collection! 

When repurposing vintage textiles you may see signs of wear, loose threads, missing fabric, exposed batting, and the like.  While they may not be suitable for their original purpose, they can still be admired for their beauty, just in a different way!
