Prayer Quilts

The "Prayer Quilt Collection" features all my own original designs.  A variety of Scriptures have been used to make the Mini Scripture Quilts!  These beautiful Prayer Quilts have been created using vintage quilts that were handcrafted many years ago.  They have been well loved, but sadly have surpassed their intended use.  I love re-purposing these beautifully hand sewn vintage quilts to create something new...something that can hopefully give comfort and peace to whoever receives it!

When using vintage quilts, you may find missing fabric, tears, wear, stains, or loose threads......you will also find that vintage quilts are so soft, and soothing, and oftentimes they bring back nostalgic memories and feelings of bygone years. Vintage quilts remind me of my grandmother, Nanny Reese, and the warmth and love I felt being with her in her home.
