Vintage Quilt Pillow Friendships...

This beautiful Dresden Plate vintage quilt block was hand stitched, but it was never made into a quilt.  It is however, the perfect place to add this friendship quote!  The quilt block  has been made up of so many fabulous vintage fabrics!  Check out the cute bunny fabric!  The quote reads "Lifelong friendships, like a well made quilt, stand the test of time", and has been sewn to a vintage crochet doily.  A perfect gift for a special friend!   This pillow is approx. 13"x13", has been sewn with a flange edge, and is stuffed with super soft polyfil.  The back is a classic red gingham.   The quote is printed in red ink.

When repurposing vintage quilts and textiles, you may find wear, stains, loose threads, lost batting and the like.  This just adds to the charm of these much loved vintage textiles.  They can still bring joy, just in another way!
