Vintage Quilt Pillow - A good friend...

A good friend is like a warm quilt wrapped around the heart

A beautiful piece cut from a vintage quilt block, I believe it is a Nosegay, but not certain. It is a lovely bouquet of flowers, sewn with a variety of fabrics! The printed quote is sewn in the center, and the bouquet has a blue ticking base, as well as the back.  This pillow is approximately 15"x14" in size.  It is sewn with a raw edge, and is stuffed with super soft polyfil.  

When using vintage textiles you may find signs of wear, missing fabric, exposed batting, loose threads and the like.  These signs of aging just add to the vintage charm.

What a cozy thought, a good friend, and a warm quilt!  This will make a very thoughtful gift to any special friend!
